All Council Meetings are open to the public. Council may, by resolution, close all or part of a meeting to the public if a matter to be discussed at that meeting is within one of the exemptions listed in Part III of The Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Actor concerns long-range or strategic planning. No member of the public may speak to the Council during the meeting unless they are speaking as a member of a delegation on the agenda.
All communication or items to be put on the agenda must be received by the Administrator a minimum of five days preceding the Council Meeting.
Delegations wishing to appear before Council shall make application to the Administrator no later than seven days preceding the Council Meeting which such delegation wishes to appear. The application shall be accompanied by a brief statement of the subject the delegation wishes to place before Council, as well as copies of any studies or other supporting documents.
